September 22nd, P6F Director, Daniel Buberis, was invited by Nike China Inc to deliver a coach workshop on tennis ‘movement’, as well as run strength and conditioning sessions, as part of the Nike Junior Elite Tennis Camp which was held at the Wuhan Olympic Sport Center with proceeds going towards P6F.
The Nike Junior Elite Tennis Camp, which was held over 2 weeks, and included a week long tennis tournament followed by a development camp, was attended by the best U12-U14 year old boys and girls in China, along with some of the best Chinese junior coaches.
Tennis expert, Carl Meas, coach to former World Number 1 and multiple Grand Slam winner, Kym Klijester, presented along with Daniel. Also, in attendance was Li Na, one China’s best known tennis players a 2 x Grand Slam winner.
Other activities included: coach training, technical and tactical training, physical training, athlete image management, media etiquette training, video analysis and sports nutrition lectures, star player interaction, and watching matches at the WTA Wuhan Open.
