P6F is proud to announce a key long-term partnership with Don Mariano Memorial State University in LaUnion, Philippines located 4hrs north of Manila.

In October last year, discussions commenced with DMMMSU to identify opportunities for P6F to help service the local region, in particular with in disadvantaged schools and orphanages. This would include a range of educational and coaching initiatives between the university and P6F, with the end goal to get P6F programs into those schools and orphanages and serviced by local qualified coaches and teachers.

Following a recent tour by P6F Director and Founder, Daniel Buberis, an official M.O.U was finalised which will mean P6F will officially engage in a working partnership for the next 4 years.

‘This is a key strategic development in Projects 6 Foundations short existence, that will ultimately help drive P6Fs mission to establish itself with in the region and more significantly, demonstrate our commitment and willingness to collaborate with local and respected institutions, like DMMMSU, to really make a meaningful and sustain impact on helping disadvantaged children with in the community, and also supporting graduates in transitioning into careers as coaches or P.E teachers’. Said Daniel.

This partnership will involve various initiatives including:

  • Guest lectures in sports coaching and strength & conditioning within the DMMMSU Masters of Physical Education Program.
  • Coach Development Workshops for university and regional coaches
  • Delivery of Regional school and orphanage sports clinics
  • Cultural student exchange program
  • A Research and Development Project
  • Up-skilling of graduates to place into paid coaching roles upon graduation.

This is great a partnership that will encourage coaches, volunteers, and sponsors from Australia to help build this partnership with DMMMSU.
